Mind / Body Resource Center

My journey through the Eastern arts, in martial arts and yoga, has brought me a wealth of skill and health. I feel a duty to share these treasures with others, especially the benefits of Internal Arts for cancer patients. Much of the practice of self-defense applies directly to one’s health and longevity. In my training, I emphasize and magnify the most important and relevant aspects of my martial arts knowledge to develop optimal health and well being.

These ancient mind/body principles and techniques complement Western treatment and are known to activate our body’s own healing mechanisms.

By staying in the desired brain wave pattern, between awake and asleep, my students strive to activate their mind as a healing mechanism and reach their physical and mental potential.

Meditation, Qigong, and Tai Chi are now recognized by Western medical science as essential healing techniques. Major scientific studies are underway currently to understand how these techniques function, and their precise benefits.
